Banoffee Pie

So the missives have finally been signed on the cottage and we are back at the rents for 6 months whilst the dream gaff is being built.

On mentioning the move to anyone, they give me the ‘oooohhhhh back living at the parents’ eyes, but seriously so far so good.  Wee Lindy has been doing the washing, looking after the wee Haggis whilst she is still off for the Summer holidays and has even been cooking up a storm.  Take for example the other night, after being presented with and eating a full plate of Haggis (not the dog I should mention), neeps and tatties (and I mean full so that there was not a sign of plate through the mound of food), she then invites me to eat what I can of a homemade banoffee pie, so eat I did…

If things keep going this way, I will be the size of the house we are set to move into.  So it’s back on the Herbalife and I mean seriously on it…and as much as I am not the biggest fan of it, I know I really have to start giving exercise a right good go.. so it’s hi ho hi ho off to join the gym in Milngavie we go

Last time I did the Herbalife to pretty good success.  I lost 2 stone and I received lots of questions from readers on the email for the how to’s and hints and tips for the diet itself. So this time around I will diarise my efforts on the blog, starting with a weigh in tomorrow. Why not begin now, no time like the present I hear you say?  Well truthfully  I have just eaten a massive curry and pretty much a full peshwari naan to myself so feel like i’m carrying a bit of excess chicken tikka chasni weight, which without a shadow will affect the weigh in and then in turn my mood for the rest of the evening (and let’s face it Sunday nights are bad enough without adding a chub issues to the mix).  Thus following the age old saying, ‘my diet will start on Monday’, can’t wait…

Hope you are all having a lovely Sunday evening and eater’s remorse is not affecting you, like it is me!!!x
