Fake Bake Real WomenRealWoman_Facebook_55zx552px_3RealWoman_Facebook_552x552px_2

Having now worked at Fake Bake for the past 14 weeks (how time flies), I have to say I’m loving it.  The transition from Agency to Client-side in the world of marketing, was initiallly a challenge (and a surprise, as I had always assumed agency-side was more intense having been part of one for 6 years) but one that I have been very much so enjoying. Working for a top beauty brand that I feel passionately about, which is located a mere 10 minutes from the cottage really does leave me feeling, very lucky.

What’s more, I have the opportunity to work on campaigns with messages which resonate strongly with me. One such campaign being the Fake Bake Real Women Fake It Campaign 2014, which was re-launched this October following the success of last year’s campaign.  I truly admire what this promotion stands for, it aims to celebrate Real Women in all their glory – shapes and sizes, lifestyles and life stories.

Being a bit of a feminist (not the burning the bra type but the type who believes that the power of the female should never be underestimated), I believe that every female is inspirational in their own right.  Whether they’re a mother, a driven professional, a women who has overcome diversity or someone who is a natural giver and who continuously does a lot for friends and loved ones, every female has an interesting story to tell and Fake Bake wants to hear about it.

Fake Bake are looking for 4 Real Women from all age groups that are resident in the UK to front their new Christmas marketing campaign and provide each with a once-in-a-lifetime photoshoot experience in the big city lights of London.  All you need to do is nominate yourself or another deserved female that you know, by midnight tomorrow to be in with a chance of winning.  Even if you do not win, you will still have had the chance to tell your story which is always a cathartic experience and a way of giving you strength to see the positive, no matter what you have had to overcome or deal with on a day to day basis.

The campaign will be judged by Global Beauty Consultant at Fake Bake Sandra Vaughan and her celebrity judging panel, which includes Danielle Peazer (a professional dancer who is currently gracing the X Factor stage and top blogger), Elliot Wright (Towie Actor, cousin of Mark Wright and entrepreneur) and Paul Banwell (top skin specialist who has been voted in the top 100 UK doctors by Times Magazine).  And on top of the luxurious photoshoot experience, the lucky winners will get the chance to meet these celeb judges, infact they will be feeling like celebs by the end of it themselves.

If I did not work at Fake Bake, this is absolutely the type of competition I would like to enter and nominate the inspirational females around me. Whether it be my mum who dedicated her life to my brother and I, cousins and friends who own their own successful businesses and who are willing to work harder than anyone else I know, a friend who lost her family and kept going with a strength I could never of matched, a friend who has recently had a baby only to find out her dad is suffering from both a degenerative and incurable illness or a friend who has worked her way to the top of a supermarket chain in the UK whilst all the way remaining one of the most selfless people I know.

Everyone has their own story to tell and it is for this reason that I wanted to let you guys know about this fabulous opportunity to tell yours.  So what are you waiting for, why not get involved?  For more info and to enter, click here.  Entries close at midnight on Friday.

Good Luck x
